60-minutes discovery call
Usually done on Skype. We arrange a date/time in advance. You need a PC, or a laptop, or a mobile with headset. This is your chance to tell me more about your project, my chance to ask questions. After that I put together your Quote. You don’t have Skype? No worries. We may use any other avenue for communication that suits you better.
Quote
You can expect paperwork within one business day of our discovery call, emailed to you in the form of the contract and attachments hereto, outlining the project scope we agreed upon (SoW). Also I clearly state a number of hours we need for briefing sessions at later steps.
Contract
I print out two original copies of the contract, sign and send it to you by mail/courier, or hand it out in person, if you are from Boston.
Payment
I invoice you for 100% of the total project cost upfront. Being a self-employed I use simplified tax system and cannot accept any other methods such as payment in cash.
Writing
The first drafts are dripped through from the first day of the project so that we may proceed with editing straight away and twitch some ideas you don’t like early on, thus iteratively moving forward to the final draft that meets everything you’ve asked.
Revising and Editing
It is unlikely we have any extra changes given that by that time you’ve read and given your feedback on all milestone drafts. However, if any, you are not limited to the amount.
Sign off
Regardless of the project, the deliverable would be a text document you get in any acceptable format upon signing off. Finally, you are asked to sign and return the Completion Certificate and leave your review.
